Can you tell us about yourself and your professional background?

My name is Sitraka Théodon, or Théo, for those who know me. I have over 7 years of experience in the IT field. I started out as an IT systems analyst, a role that gave me a solid understanding of the technical aspects of projects. Over the years, I transitioned into project management, developing a strong affinity for leadership, team coordination, budget management, and above all, client relationships.

What is your current role at Esokia?

I’m a project manager. My role is to oversee digital projects, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and clients. I use my technical skills to fully grasp the stakes of each project and translate them into concrete solutions, delivered on time and aligned with expectations.

What does your daily work in project management involve?

Project management includes several key stages: planning, defining objectives, organizing resources, team coordination, and monitoring progress. I’m also responsible for risk management, client communication, and ensuring deadlines and budgets are respected. At Esokia, we often follow the Agile methodology, which promotes continuous collaboration and fast adaptation. Once the project is completed, we conduct a review to capitalize on lessons learned.

What do you enjoy about this job, and why did you choose this field?

What I particularly enjoy is seeing a project through from start to finish: starting from an idea or a client need, transforming it into a tangible solution, and witnessing the final product being used. Seeing an idea come to life and being implemented by the client is a real source of satisfaction. Every mission is different, every client presents unique challenges, that’s what makes the job so stimulating. I have a technical background, but what I now value most is the big-picture view and the human dynamic of project management.

I chose this field because I started with a technical education, and over time, I developed a real desire to manage projects in their entirety.

How do you manage client relationships?

Listening is essential right from the beginning. I take the time to fully understand the client’s expectations, communicate regularly about project progress, and stay available to quickly resolve any issues. I aim to be accessible, responsive, and committed to keeping promises. For me, transparency and trust are the foundations of successful collaboration.
