In June 2020, the Magento 1 version will end! Have you considered migrating to Magento 2 to avoid that your website will not be secured, supported and perennial anymore?
On January 28, 2020, the famous open source e-commerce CMS implemented the Magento 2.3.4 version. Do you know the new functionalities that the platform will offer us?
Indeed, Magento offers important upgrades that you must take into account if you have an e-commerce site on it. The changes mainly concern security, quality as well as new features that are intended for merchants such as payment methods.
The Magento 2.3.4 version is seen as a "release" that must accompany and also engage customers through an adapted and above all personalized experience.
In order to achieve its goal, this new version must be able to make toolboxes compatible with the PWA studio. For a small reminder, this one is a tool which allows, as its name indicates it, the creation of Progressive Web Apps e-commerce.
On this new version, more than 30 evolutions are noted as well as recommendations which are related to the security of the platform. Indeed, its second main objective is to reduce remote code execution vulnerabilities. For the moment, no attack has been noticed on version 2 of the CMS.
To keep transparency to its users, the e-commerce platform Magento has published its vulnerabilities identified and confirmed by its partners regarding its security via its report entitled "CVE" which stands for "Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures".
Once the report is established, Magento absolutely wants to fix all its vulnerabilities that can be found in version 2.3.3. So the CMS uses a security patch (the SECURITY-ONLY PATCH 2.3.3-p1) to update its security.
To continue on the improvement of its security, Magento continues the evolution of its technical stack to secure its Core (the engine used by modules like Zend) and also its compliance with PCI standards (for the protection of your customers' financial data). Also, the CMS integrates many patches that are written through security bulletins requested by Adobe.
To improve and optimize the quality of the code of its frameworks and modules (such as Catalog, Paypal, Import...), Magento integrates in this new version more than 250 technical evolutions.
